T minues 11 hours and 43 minutes until the kick off of NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo. I'm ready...I think. I have a short todo list for the day:
Work out how Dom finds Cadence's killer in chapter 10.
Outline Chapter 11: the arrest.
Think up a novel title.
Think up chapter titles.

Sharing is Love
While watching Supernatural with Melissa and Carissa I remembered a picspam I'd seen a while ago. It's so good that I don't know why I haven't linked it here before. It's called "Forewarned is Forearmed": http://kroki-refur.livejournal.com/120603.html?mode=reply

Crunch Time Everybody!
This is it. It's crunch time now. Less than a week until NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo.
For NaNoWriMo, I'm pretty confident that I'm not going to run out of the things to write, but I'm worried that I'm going to have problems with tenses and with POV. I really want to have at least three different points of view: Dom, Cadence, and fly-on-the-wall. Entire chapters will be done in one POV and will be marked so that it's clear who's perspective I'm writing in. I'm worried that I'm going hole myself up in my dorm room and not leave for the entirety of November.
For NaBloPoMo, I'm collecting lyrics for my favortie songs so that if I have nothing else to blog about I can post the lyrics and analyze why I like the song and stuff like that.

I'll Do It On My Own
I've decided to read my Computer Theory book and write down any questions I have. I can ask my teacher the questions that I have. I'm going to learn this stupid information if it kills me (which I really hope it doesn't).

Does That Make Me Crazy? Possibly!
Well the title is taken from the Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy" because I thought it fit quite well with the subject of this post, which is my state of mental health.
This November I have decided to participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. 50,000 words is more than I think I've ever written, EVER, but I'm going to give it a try. I'm actually shooting for 51,000 because it divides nicely by 30 days (1700 words a day) and that way there is no chance of word count mistakes when I send it in at the end of November. The goal of NaBloPoMo is to post on a blog everyday of the month of November. I have a blog (and look, you've found it!) and I hope that blogging in November will be a nice break from writing essays for my classes and writing my novel. In addition to noveling and blogging like a crazy person I will have to go to my classes (I'm taking five different classes, but I have eight a week). I have three hour and 15 minute classes (twice a week each) and two 2 and a half hour classes (once a week each). Also I work. I only work three days a week, but I manage to squeeze 12 hours of working into those three days. Work isn't really a set back though because I sit at a computer and I'm allowed to work on homework or anything else, as long as I do my job as well. Actually, I'm posting at work right now. I'll definitely have time during work and some of my classes to write my novel and post here at my blog.

I have managed to get the following people into Supernatural since 12:10 this morning (as in ten minutes after midnight): Ricardo, Bryan, Sara S, Carissa, Melissa. For this I win at life. One of the girls like Dean, two are undecided on whether they prefer Dean or Sam, and nobody cares what the guys think.

Digital Artwork (a.k.a. Meg Gets More Desktop Pictures)
The true purpose of my Digital Artwork class is that I get new desktop pictures. And they are pretty. Let me show you the pretty.
Made using pictures taken by Monique at the August 25 Drake Bell, Corbin Bleu, Aly & AJ, Bianca Ryan concert. Guess who we went to see.
I made the last one tonight, and it's my current desktop picture. The Drake Bell one and the black and white Supernatural picture (from "Route 666") with a stanza of Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken" are both Digital Artwork projects. And I got grades for them. So basically, Digital Artwork is a class where I get to do what I usually do (make desktop pictures, mess with Supernatural screencaps, other photoshop things) and I get grades for it. What an awesome class.
