Sharing the Writing Prompt Goodness

After spending hours on the internet looking for some writing prompts to strike my interest, I have accidentally thought up a starting sentence that sparks my imagination. And while I try to think up a way to continue where this one sentence leaves off, I have decided to share the sentence. Make of it what you will...

The breeze stung, pointing out each and every one of the cuts on his face and the exposed parts of his arms and legs.

Personal Discovery

Every once in a while I figure something out about myself. Sunday I hung out with Monique and Bailey. We had a sleepover at Monique's. I've always like having musicgoing when I'm writing or working on something. At Monique's I learned that I write much better if I'm wearing headphones to listen to music. I don't know why it helps me to concentrate, except that it kind of blocks out the outside world, and I am able to get totally absorbed in the music. I wanted to write it down so that I remember. I need to find a pair of headphones. I'm working on writing a story for a prompt my Mom gave me a while ago and I'd actually like to continue writing it. It's about what happens after the episode "Freak Nation" of Dark Angel.

Tears Streaming Out Of My Eyes and My Sister's Evil Glare

I've been itching to write. Now that I have my laptop I figured it would be easier to write because I have the freedom go anywhere (within walking distance) and keep all my work in one place. As of yet I haven't written anything, aside from the blog post entitled "Leviathan".

Now I've found something that I can write about. Let me set the seen for you...Meghan sat on the couch in her tan shorts. Her legs were curled under a pink pillow that was unraveling and had obvisously seen better days. Atop the pillow sat Leviathan, her new and much loved Gateway Laptop. Leviathan was connected to the home wireless network and Meghan was busy scrolling away at blogs and writing websites. When suddenly she stumbled across a link that picqued her interest. On impulse she clicked the link and it transported her to an animation. One of the Strongbad animations to be specific. This one was about writing. The video was so hilarious that Meghan spent it's entirety with tears streamig from her eyes. Shaking with the effort of not laughing in manner that would disturb her sister Erin. Meghan's efforts were of no use though as her sister paused the episode of "Bones" she had previously been immersed in and turned her steely gaze on her older sister. The video quickly ended though Meghan missed some of it due to her sister's persistent nagging to stop laughing and be quiet. Adding quickly, "I can feel you laughing."

One of my joys in life is sharing this that I find amusing with others. Usually this rocess includes talking about something to death. Please note my 66 Supernatural posts and my 11 Stargate SG-1 posts. In this case, however, all I have to do is post a link to the Strongbad video that sent me into hysterical laughter and tears. So, here it is: http://homestarrunner.com/sbemail84.html.

Enjoy!

Leviathan

This is my first ever blog post from Leviathan. That's right, I named my laptop. But I'm allowed to because I finally have it (her). And I'm very excited.

Fun With Barbies and Ken Dolls

This is like Plastic!Winchester Theater, except it has nothing to do with Supernatural, so it's not as good (just kidding. It's actually very well-written and put together). http://community.livejournal.com/plastic_deathby/. Check it out.
