Supernatural Friday Five, my blogging fall back

When I have no idea what to blog about I can do the Supernatural Friday Five. That's genius!

Theme: Questions related to aspects/actors of Supernatural.

1.) Of the gag reels from season 1 and season 2 (if you still haven't seen them, you can find them on youtube), which scene was the most memorable to you? Why?
I like the part in the season 2 gag reel that is from the episode "Heart". In the scene Dean is supposed to be working with the gun as he says his lines, then Sam is supposed to open a beer bottle as he says his. In the gag reel Jensen is having problems with the gun and Jared is bugging him about getting it right. Then when it's Jared's turn he can't open the beer bottle. I like this scene because I think it shows how their chemistry is real and how they kind of act like brothers in real life. I think the fact that they are friends makes the show even better than if they just worked together and barely tolerated each other, or something like that.

2.) Of all the other TV shows and/or movies Jared and Jensen have done, which is your favorite? Why?
Jensen - Dark Angel. I like the character. And I like the premise of the show.
Jared - Gilmore Girls. It's the only thing I've seen him in other than Supernatural and Cheaper By The Dozen. I actually liked Jared as Dean in Gilmore Girls.

3.) How do you feel about fans writing fan fiction (of any rating) that feature Jared and Jensen?
I think real-person fiction is weird. I like fanfiction because the characters are just characters and writers can do whatever they want with them (as long as they stay in character). I don't like real-person fiction because they really are REAL PEOPLE. I wouldn't want some one writing stories about me, especially not slash or hurt/comfort.

4.) What are your feelings about the music on Supernatural? Has it opened your eyes to an entirely new kind of music? Do you suddenly love classic rock? Or is it the classical episodic compositions (by Christopher Lennertz and the like) that have affected you? Or has the music not affected you at all?
I love the classic rock. It always amuses me when my iPod (named "Metallipod") or my laptop (named "Leviathan") are on random and switch from something like Kelly Clarkson or JoJo to Foreigner, Kansas or Blue Oyster Cult. This show has opened me up to a new kind of music.

5.) If Supernatural were ever to become popular with the mainstream media (sort of like Grey's Anatomy or CSI is today), how do you think our show would affect the media and potential new viewers? What would you hope potential new viewers consider about Supernatural before and after watching it?
I don't know how it would affect the media. I hope that potential new viewers would try to understand that underneath the demon and ghost hunting and all the supernatural aspects of the show, that "Supernatural" is really about family. Family and the relationships between father and son and between brothers.

Deep Questions

Supernatural Friday Five Questions for June 1, 2007.

1. If Supernatural had to be remembered by one line from the show, which line do you think it should be and why?
"Saving people, hunting things: The family business." Because it explains what they do and why they do it. I love how it's worded as well. Saving people comes before hunting things. Saving people is the important part. And it's a family thing. That's why they do it.

2. What do you think would be Dean's favourite movie? And Sam's?
I think would like movies like The DaVinci Code. Mystery, logic. I think Dean would nitpick at horror movies and be mad that they get so much wrong. I think Dean would like The Blues Brothers.

3. Explain how you think Sam learned to drive. Who taught him? Did he have trouble? Was he a natural? Was he allowed to learn in the Impala?
I think Dean helped teach him. I think he probably tried to use the "driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole" line on Dean at one point. I think he would have had to learn in the Impala because they had no other car. He was probably a little shaky the first time, but got better.

4. Dean is very stuck in his ways, but everyone eventually makes the transition from cassette tapes to CDs (or at least they add CDs to their cassette tape collection). What kind of CD do you think will finally get Dean to purchase a CD?
When they no longer sell tapes anywhere I think Dean will buy CDs of classic rock collections. When he absolutely has to make the switch from cassette tape to CD.

5. If Dean had to choose one of the two, do you think he would choose sex or rock n' roll?
I think he'd choose rock n' roll, unless there was girl in the room.

Charlie the Unicorn: Some People Just Have to Much Free Time

Almost everybody has seen the "Charlie the Unicorn" video on YouTube.com. And for those who haven't here's a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgO3NcG3IHM. It's a funny video, though a little annoying if watched too many times.

Once you've watched that there are so many remakes that people have made in their spare time. I found my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6DjeK2xIZc. That's right...someone put Supernatural clips to Charlie the Unicorn. And my friends think I'm obsessed. I just spend the time finding this stuff.

As of posting this link I have 291 videos in my favorites list. I don't have any videos that I've made (because I've never made any) but I find some of the best stuff. Very diverse: Supernatural, Dark Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Drake Bell, Jensen Ackles, Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis), and more. Because...I really have no life.

On a completely unrelated topic. We bought season 2 of Stargate Atlantis yesterday. I'd seen most of the episodes, and have now watched the ones I hadn't seen, but I can't wait to watch commentaries and special features.

Supernatural Friday Five

May 25, 2007

1.) Tonight the CW re-aired the season two premiere, "In My Time of Dying". Now that we've seen the season finale and premiere, and as it is obvious both episodes were meant to have a big impact on the characters of the show (and therefore the fans), which episode did you like better and why?
Good question. Their Dad was in both episodes (though not for long in "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2"). I think I like the premiere better, but for a totally dumb reason. While watching the premiere I knew that I had a whole season ahead of me. Watching the finale I knew that I had a whole summer of repeats ahead of me. I love Big Bad (the YED) in both episodes. I think that Big Bad is a humorous, engaging character. He doesn't seem evil when he's on-screen speaking with someone. I'm surprised that they introduced the actor that plays Big Bad in season 2, in "In My Time of Dying" and then managed to end his storyline in "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2". I like "In My Time of Dying" better because it shocked me. I was so convinced that they (the Supernatural powers that be) were not going to kill off John, and then right at the end they did. And I never saw it coming. And it left me stunned and confused (even when I just watched the end last night, I was like "I'll never get used to that"). At the end of "All Hell Breaks Loose" (both parts) I was content. I didn't freak out in between the parts about Sam dying because I don't think TPTB are that cruel. And by the end of the second part I was a melted pile of goo (I will explain). I felt like it was a good end, and I loved how it tied back to the end of the first episode "Pilot". Then I thought about it and realized that there are so many questions left unanswered:
How did Mary Winchester know Big Bad?
Is it really Sam that Dean (and the Crossroad Demon) brought back?
How are they going to get Dean out of his deal (without Sam dying)?
Can Bobby be any cooler?
To explain the 'melted pile of goo' comment. Near the end of "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2" Dean (Jensen) smiles and it was amazing. And I melted. And I've already posted a screencap of it (a couple posts ago) so everyone can go check it out as well.

2.) If the fans could vote on one extra Supernatural episode, would you rather have a wee!Winchesters episode (like "Something Wicked" from season one) or an episode twenty years in the Winchesters' future? As always, please explain.
I'm gonna say a Wee!Winchesters episode, but I liked the way "Something Wicked" did it. I could deal with an all Wee!Winchesters episode because I love the Big!Winchesters too much. I pick a Wee!Winchesters episode because if they were to do a future episode then the show would be tied into getting them there and I think that would annoy me.

3.) Supernatural is very music-oriented, so here's your crack question for the week. Which real band (meaning you can't make one up) would you place Sam and/or Dean in and why?
Everyone prepare for my total cop-out of an answer. Here goes...Dean and Sam should not be in any band(s). Because I like them right where they are: out on the road, hunting evil, being brothers, saving lives, being angsty (but not too angsty because then it become a soap opera).

4.) How do you hope the Agent Henricksen storyline will be handled in season three?
I hope that Agent Hendricksen doesn't suddenly become like every female cop ever on this show. I would be very disappointed it he had a sudden awakening and realized that our beloved Winchester boys are doing what's right (they just break laws to do it). I understand the lady cop from "The Benders" because they helped her solve the disappearance of her brother. And the cop from "The Usual Suspects" makes sense to because they saved her life. But it would ruin the Agent Hendricksen character for me if he let them off the hook.

5.) What are your thoughts on the season 2 DVD cover?
I love it. Blue-ish/Purple isn't a color my mind goes to when I think Supernatural, but I think it works. It has the three main characters on it (Dean, Sam and Metallicar) and it's a good picture of Dean, so I like it.

This Week's Supernatural Friday Five

April 26, 2007

1. Imagine you've been told, for whatever reason, that you must rename Sam and Dean. What would you rename them?
My Dad suggests that we rename Sam and Dean, Dean and Sam. That would make for a confusing episode.
I can't chose. I love the names Dean and Sam, so I really can't imagine any different names for them. I think that Jensen and Jared do such a great job of embodying Dean and Sam. I can't Dean and Sam Winchester with any names except those.

2. What types/genres of novels can you see Dean and/or Sam reading?
I can see Dean reading horror for research and nitpicking. Sam commented on The DaVinci Code in the season one episode "Something Wicked" so I'm guessing that he probably likes logical books, puzzles, maybe mystery. I think it would be funny if Dean were a closet romance reader. Books that have a happy ending.

3. What was one twist in season two that you did not see coming?
John dying. I didn't expect it. I'd been telling my sister through the summer that they would him off because Dean wouldn't be able to handle it. Because it would change his character too much. And then they had to go and prove me wrong. Also, at the end of "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" when Dean and Sam talked, and Dean cried. That kind of full-blown emotion was unexpected. Same for the end of "Everybody Loves A Clown," with the beating of the Impala. *cries* Poor Impala.

4. If Dean and/or Sam had an email address, what do you think the address would be?
Sam: swinchester@wherever.com
Dean: Would Dean even have an e-mail address? He didn't know what MySpace was. Maybe Sam made him one: olderbro@wherever.com.

5. The season two finale is quickly approaching. What one thing tops your Must-Not-Happen-To-The-Winchesters list, other than their death?
They cannot hug. The Winchesters hugging would ruin it. Then we, the fans, would have nothing to grip about and wish for. No Wincest. They cannot trade in the Impala. They definitely cannot wake up from a dream, and have the entire two seasons be a dream. They can't find a place and settle to a normal life. Also, Supernatural is not allowed to be recast. One thing I'd like to see for season three is Jensen's name first in the credits. Maybe they could switch off every two years. For two years Jared is first. For the next two Jensen is first. Not about the Winchesters, but I'd really hate it if Supernatural got opening credits, or started putting a commercial after the teaser.

Previous Supernatural Friday Fives

1. We know Kripke & Co mean to put symbolism and other literary devices into the episodes, but do you think fans delve into the meaning behind things too much sometimes? or not enough?
I love how much the fans delve into the hidden meanings. I love that Kripke & Co have given Supernatural deeper meanings. I'm glad that there are fans out there that look at everything through a lens of there being something deeper there. It's good because the first few times I watch an episode all I get out of it is "God, they're so hot!!!!"

2. Do you think Kripke/Jensen/Jared know about Wincest? And if so, what do you think they think of it?
I think Kripke knows everything. He's to keep up with what's happening on the internet with us crazy fans. I don't know if Jensen and Jared know.

3. In ELAC, Sam mentions how he's not interested in going back to school anymore - he's solely focused on the hunt. Whether or not he meant it back then, if and when Sam and Dean get out of this demonic moshpit, do you think Sam will still want to go back to school?
I don't see how Sam (or Dean)would be able to function in a normal, real world situation. With everything they know about demons and what's really out there. I couldn't see being lawyer working for Sam. He wants to help people and law is a bunch of waiting and red tape.

4. Gordon mentions in Hunted that demons were talking about war. How do you think this upcoming war will work? Will it be private, between just hunters and demons, or will the rest of humanity be involved too?
Demons seem to go big. With all the deaths they cause in the show I can't believe people haven't figured it out already, at least nobody Dean and Sam have run into. I think humanity would be involved. If I were a demon I would use innocent people to get at the hunters.

5. We see Jo again in Born Under A Bad Sign. Do you like her better, worse, or about the same from when we left her in 'No Exit'?
I liked her better. She seemed a little bit stronger away from the Roadhouse.

1. Wendigos or freaky-females-in-white-clothing?
Freaky-females-in-white-clothing. They're more human looking, therefore more scary when they attack you. It isn't expected that a hot girl in a white dress is going to kill you.

2. Prank wars or towel scenes?
I love Supernatural because I don't have to choose. That scene in "Hell House" where Sam's wearing a towel and Dean's putting itching powder in his underwear. That was the best of both worlds. Except Jensen wasn't wearing a towel, so let's get more of that.

3. latin-speaking!Dean or latin-speaking!Sam?
Definitely Latin-Speaking!Dean. I have no idea why. Maybe because I love his voice anyway.

4. FBI uniforms or suits + tie?
Don't the FBI wear suits and ties. What's the difference? I guess FBI uniform because that sweet ID badge flip move from "Nightshifter" rocked my socks (and I love that they're badges say 'Han Solo' and 'Jack Ryan').

5. Rock salt or holy water?
Rock salt. I can hide salt in my wallet. That would be hard with holy water.

1. What's the quality you admire the most about the Winchester boys?
They're not looking for thanks or recognition. I mean they'd like it if someone said "hey thanks for saving me", but they save people because they have information that other people don't. They save people because it's right, and because they can. Not because they want to be heroes or celebrities in the public eye.

2. Pick a character you would think about naming your kid/pet/etc after.Metallicar. I would name my car Metallicar. Then I disgrace the name by listening to Kelly Clarkson and Evanescence and they Fray.

3. We can see that Sam and Dean (perhaps on the surface) are presented to have rather contrasting attitudes. Do you think the brothers got along well as kids, or would their personalities have been too different for them to get along?
I think they got along well. It seems like Dean was more of a mother than a brother when they were kids. I bet they fought about their Dad. Dean listened, Sam didn't. That probably caused troubles.

4. In Season 1, the episode titles were usually one or two words, and the majority had a very obvious link to the episode. In Season 2 though, titles are becoming more phrase-like, and perhaps more mysterious-sounding. Why do you think there is this shift over the two seasons?
It's a test. You're a true fan if you can name all the episode titles including the ridiculously long ones like "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Man's Blood". Just kidding. I think they make sense. They're a hassle for web pages, because they take up multiple lines on nav bars. I had heard that the episodes were all song titles, but I never checked it.

5. How do you feel about the Season 2 episodes starting to "recycle" the old, already-used monster-of-the-week from Season 1?
I really want to see some new monsters. No more zombies and vampires. I liked the trickster. I'd love to see a serious stand alone episode though.

Playing Catch Up With The Supernatural Friday Five

I'm not doing the Friday Fives for last week or this week, but I do want to catch up the Supernatural Friday Fives.

So, the questions from Friday Jan. 26, 2006.

1. If you could ask Kripke one question about the show and have it answered, what would it be?
Could you just..um, keep doing what you're doing? Please, thanks.

2. How do you think Sam and Dean's morals are defined? And what are they?
The like the Ying and Yang Meta thing. I think Dean's morals are based on the big picture. It doesn't matter what he does along the way (one-night stands, credit card fraud, breaking and entering, inpersonating government officials, etc) as long as he's saving people. And he is. Sam's morals are a little more ambitious. It seems like he wants to do the 'right' thing all the time. He sacrifices his happiness to obey laws and such.

3. During Provenance, we see that Sam is very reluctant to start any relationships, because he's afraid that the people around him will get hurt. Do you think his thoughts on this topic has changed since then? If they have, do you think they've made him even more cautious, or more relaxed?
I would think more cautious since he learned the secret. He doesn't want to let any in for fear that he's going to turn evil and kill them.

4. We see in second season that while the mothers of some "chosen" kids died in a fire, others remain alive and healthy. Why do you think this is so? And how do you think the demon chooses who stays alive and who dies?
I don't really know, but I think the demon chose wrong with Sam. If Mary had lived Dean and Sam would have grown up in Lawrence, Kansas. They never would have known about the supernatural that's out there because John never would have gone on his revenge thing. If Mary had lived then when Big Bad wanted Sam, Dean, John and Mary wouldn't have known what to do to fight back. He could've saved alot of trouble for himself by leaving Mary to live.

5. If it came down to it, do you think Dean will be able to keep the promise he made to Sam and kill his brother?
I think promises are one thing that Dean stays honest with, but I don't think he'll be able to kill Sam if the time comes. And if he does kill Sam it'll kill him as well.

1. If you could have lunch with Sam and Dean and ask them one question each, what would they be?
I think if I had lunch Dean and Sam at the same time I would pass out from the sheer hotness. I would ask Sam to think about Dean's mental health before burdening him with things like killing his younger brother. I would ask Dean to take his shirt off, just kidding. To come home with me, again just kidding. I would give Dean a hug because life's been hard on him and there have been many episodes where I've wanted to give him a hug. I would ask to hang out with them in the Impala.

2. If the boys weren't limited to US locations, what other town would you like to see them investigate, and why?
I've never really been out of the U.S., but maybe Loch Ness or Stongehenge. Both would require flying to get them there though.

3. Do you believe that Mary's death at the beginning of this series was "fated", or could she possibly have stayed alive if only she'd remained in bed?
I think her death was "fated". If she had stayed in bed and lived John would not have gone to Missouri and learned about supernatural creatures. Dean and Sam wouldn't have grown up the way they did. Mary had to die for the plot to work.

4. What do you think is the contrast between Andy Gallagher and Max Miller?
Because of Max's childhood he had a lot of pent up anger and rage. He used his powers to not only defend himself, but fight back and kill people. Andy used his powers for only small things and he'd never used them on the girl that he liked. He controlled his abilities and used them for fun. He didn't really take them seriously.

5. What do you think of Season Two so far?
I love season two so far. Except for Jo. She's not my favorite person in the world and I'm glad that she didn't become a regular cast member or even a frequently recurring guest star. I love the one-liners and story lines of episodes. And I love the sibling aspect. It's what makes Supernatural so easy to relate to for me.

Friday Five, Supernatural Friday Five & "Playthings"

It is once again time for me to belated do the Supernatural Friday Five, and regular Friday Five. I'm starting off with the Supernatural Friday Five.

1. What's the most heartbreaking incident/fact that's been presented in the episodes so far?
In the episode "Salvation" Dean says, "Sammy, look...the three of us—that’s all we have. And that’s all I have. Sometimes I feel like I’m barely holdin’ it together, man. Without you and Dad..." I LOVE that scene. I also think the end scene from "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" was very emotional and I actually cried the first few times I watched it.

2. We've been seeing a lot of new guest stars this season. Would you like to see some of those characters come back, or do you think it's better to just have new characters?
I like Ash. And Ellen's okay. I thought Andy ("Simon Said") was pretty cool. The guiest star I really want to see again is Missouri Moseley from "Home". I know she's not from season two, but she's a character I want to see again.

3. Do you think we've seen the last of Gordon?
For a while I think. He'll probably come back to cause more trouble.

4. Do you think we've seen the last of Jo? (At least for this season?)
I wish. I think Dean and Sam will run into her eventually. I'm just glad she never became a love interest for Dean (Thank You Kripke!!).

5. What are you opinions on Ava Wilson? What do you think happened to her? Is she a "good" character, or an "evil-playing-good" character?
I think she's a "good" character. But to be fair, I thought Duane ("Croatoan") was a "good guy" too, and then he did that "Meg thing". I thought Ava was cute and funny.

Now for the non-Supernatural Friday Five.

1. What is the name of the strip mall nearest your residence, and is it the strip mall you frequent most?
The strip mall nearest me is the *town name* Fair Mall. It is the strip mall I frequent the most.

2. At your preferred strip mall, what is the name of one store you’ve never entered?
Bureau of Motor Vehicles. I don't think I've been in there yet.

3. Which store at your preferred strip mall would you most like to work in?
Village Candle. I'd probably break things though. I'm not the most graceful person.

4. Which store(s) at your preferred strip mall would you like to see disappear?
Hmm...We have too many sports shops, but I bet a bunch of people would disagree with making those go away.

5. How often do you go to your preferred strip mall?
Not very often, but someone from my family goes at least once a week because it's got our grocercy store in it.

And finally, my review of Thursday's episode of Supernatural "Playthings".

I want to start by saying that the mansion/hotel/whatever rocked!! It was awesome. I'm using very interesting words. I don't know if the hotel was a set or if they actually found that building and were allowed to use it, but I thought it was an amazing place. Creepy, but also that great "big ole house" feel. And the model of the hotel made me gasp. That is SO cool. I wish I had one of those. Despite the weirdness of dolls throwing themselves down flights of stairs and commiting suicide.

More gay jokes. Dean and Sam's entrance into the hotel and then discussion up in their room was hilarious. I'll start with Dean liking the old school haunted house type hunts. I like the line about maybe even seeing Fred and Daphe inside. "Mmm, Daphe. I love her." Great line. Not overstated. The hotel owner is not a very good judge of character. First she thinks the're antiquers, then she thinks they're gay. And that leads into Dean and Sam's conversation in their room. The one where Dean asks why people think they're gay. Sam explains that Dean is butch, and people probably think he's over compensating. Maybe so. Dean's reaction kind of confused me, but really, what do you say to something like that?

My Mom loved this next scene. Dean and Sam knock on the owner's door and see the large doll collection. I'm going to say that this piece was a way of Dean paying Sam back for calling him "butch". Dean tells the owner that Sam has a HUGE doll collection and would love to look at the dolls they have. He then goes on to explain how Sam would never admit it, but like to dress hjis dolls up in their little outfits, and how much more could I possibly love Jensen Ackles right now? He does it all so well. The owner lets them in and Dean's reaction is something to the effect of "not creepy at all". True. So many doll eyes. And they're all almost completely black. I think they're possessed.

The death scenes of the man taking things to Goodwill and the lawyer working for the people buying the hotel. I love how they cut from the dool house hotel replica to the actual hotel and real people. The door opening in the doll house and then opening in the lawyer's room, very cool.

Because of this episode we know that Sam can get drunk. It's good to know that he doesn't always keep himself in check. And despite the fact that it took me a second to catch to why he was acting so weird, Sam is quite funny when he's drunk. "You're bossy. And short." What an awesome line?! I had wondered when they'd address the fact that Dean is shorter than Sam. It's not like an older sibling can't be shorter than their younger sibling (my sis and I are also 4 years apart and she's definitely going to be taller than me), but it is kind of funny. Jensen is not short. He's 6 foot 1. Jared's just taller at 6 foot 3, or 4. Onward. Sam makes Dean promise that if he turns evil Dean will kill him just like their Dad told Dean too. They're really close and a groups of Wincest fans all over pass out and miss, nothing, because nothing happens. They're brothers for cryin' out loud!!

And this review is getting lengthy and taking too long, so I'll finish up with the pool scene. While I would have liked to see Dean/Jensen wet (again), I think it's fitting that Sam gets to save the drowning girl, whose name is Tyler, because Dean got to save Lucas from drowning in "Dead in the Water". Now they've each saved a drowning kid.

A few last notes. I love Dean's hangover "cure". Older siblings are the best. Why did Sam have to remember that Dean had promised to kill him? Doesn't he understand how much pressure he's putting on Dean?? Of course not. He's worried about turning evil.

It took so long to do these because I slept at a friend's house Thursday night. We watched Supernatural together. Then I got home mid-afternoon friday. Another of my friends called and I went to a basketball game and forgot about the Friday Fives. And I spent most of Saturday at a belated birthday party for another friend.

I have not been able to find Supernatural transcripts for season two. I wish the place that has the season one treanscripts had kept up with the new episodes because it's so much more fun to throw in accurate quotes when writing my reviews.

"Hunted" & The Friday Fives

The Friday Five, and Supernatural Friday Five for yesterday. I realized in bed last night that I hadn't done them. So here goes. Last week I did the Supernatural Friday Five questions first, so this week I'm starting with the questions from friday5.org.

1. How high is your guilt threshold?
I feel guilty very easily, so I guess that make my guilt threshold very low. For instance, if I didn't do my homework I won't be able to make up a fake reason for why I didn't do I because I would already feel guilty for even thinking about lying to my teacher. I think it keeps me out of trouble because I know I would be able to pretend that I didn't do anything wrong.

2. How strong is your resistance to sweets?
My resistance to sweets is almost non-existant. I love candy and chocolate and only when I'm really full or REALLY sick can I turn it down.

3. How long is your fuse?
Long. I don't freak out about something until it's frustrated me for weeks. Right now I sit through a class where everyone else in the room spends the period talking and don't say anything because when I tried before it didn't help any.

4. What is the quickest way to get you hot (you know what we mean!)?
I don't know. I always seem to be cold. Eating chocolate and curling up with a book or fanfiction seems to give me the ability to ignore how cold I am.

5. How sensitive are you to ambient noise?
I can usually hear people coming to the door over my music. And I usually play my music to tune out the world.

1. What's the one most humorous incident/fact that's been presented in the episodes so far?
The Prank Wars. I think it's so right for brothers. I think it was a great addition to the show and the episode (Hell House).

2. If humans can be represented by animal forms, what animals do you think Sam and Dean will be?
I like that in the fanfiction "I Thought I Saw" Dean turns into a panther, so I'll stick with a panther for Dean. I think it fits because Dean kind of has two sides: he's charming and gorgeous, but he's also a kick ass hunter. So panthers look pretty and soft, but you know that if you piss it off it will take you down and I think that fits with Dean. For Sam, I think a giraffe because he's so tall just kidding. A dolphin because he's so smart, but also a deer because they get skiddish around people. Sam's good with people, but he's not really ready to let go of Jessica and find another girl.

3. Do you live off spoilers or avoid them?
Some where in the middle. I try to avoid spoilers, but I also hate waiting for new episodes to come on Thursdays, so I usually cheat. I'm trying hard to avoid them though.

4. The Demon said it had family - children. Do you think that means literal offspring - baby!Demons - or like-minded, similar demons?I think off-spring, though I'm having trouble trying to imagine reproduction among demons. I think off-spring because Big Bad's "children" seem to be lower than him on the demon chain of command. They follow his orders and call him "father". I guess even if they aren't off-spring, then I don't think their similar demons either because they don't seem to have as much power as him (or they don't use it).

5. What was your first reaction to what Dean told Sam in the beginning of Hunted?
I was kind of let down, but that's okay. My second reaction was an outloud "Oh My God!," but thats because Dean said "please" more times in that scene than he had all of season one.

My review for Supernatural's January 11, 2007 episode "Hunted".

I liked this episode ALOT! Except for three very small pieces that I thought could have been better.

So I'll start with the parts I thought could have been better. Number 1: When Dean was punching Gordon I could tell none of the punches were landing (the first time I watched). Number 2: When the second grenade goes off behind Dean it definitely looked like it had been put in with computer. Jensen's reaction was great, but the background threw me (again on my first time watching it). And Number 3: When Sam slams Gordon with the butt of the gun it looked faked took. I only pick these things up because my family loves finding continuity and stuff in movies. And now I do it without trying. I noticed Andy's (Simon Said) van in an episode from season one, and it was only on-screen for a few seconds and it was a dark scene.

I love how Sam picked up the bullet from the rooftop and knew exactly what kind it was and al that. And Ava's response to his odd knowledge was great too.

I waited to post this review because I wanted to be able to find a picture of something I thought was funny. So, this is as close to the picture I want as I'm going to get.

The picture is from supernatural.tv, which does lovely screencaps and more for every episode. Now, look at the picture. Good job (it's hard. I know). Dean's just been untied and ungagged. Sam just almost got blown up. So, Dean thought Sam was dead, and Sam was worried about Dean.To me, this is the PERFECT time for a hug. Instead, we get "that." I'm pretty sure that at one point Sam had his hands on Dean's shoulders, but I couldn't find that picture. Is this (see picture) as close to a hug as we're ever going to see them give each other?? I could slide in between them (and would willingly). We all know they can hug because the both hugged John in Shadow, and they kind of hugged in "Home" after Sam almost choked by the evil lamp. I could understand that maybe they wanted to make sure Gordon wasn't going to come in and kill them, but still...they got SOOO close! We almost got to see a hug, and then we didn't. Damn!

Who's really in control? Dean's older and he's been hunting longer so it makes sense that he would be "in charge," but for the past two episodes (and probably more) things seem to be going Sam's way. Dean's said more than once that he wants to stop hunting and take a break, and yet they continue hunting. I understand that showing them not hunting wouldn't be as exciting as watching them hunt, but I don't want to Dean to crash either. They haven't taken much of a break since they got Metallicar back up and running. And sometimes people just need everything to slow down so that they can process things. I think if I found out my sibling might possibly be turning EVIL I'd need sometime to think. I do think that during the hunts Dean seems to the one with the plans. He knows what he's doing, and they work together, but he seems to be "in command" when they're working a case.

1. What's the quality you admire the most about your favourite guest star?
I'm going to say four favorite guest stars because their character's share some of the same traits: Cassie (Route 666), Haylie (Wendigo), Kat (Asylum) and Sarah (Provenance). They all have great taste in guys, except for Kat because Gavin was kinda dumb (Haylie was so checking out Dean). They're all strong women. They're not the typical damsells in distress that one would see on tv. They think and try to help and make decisions on their own. Haylie refused to leave the woods until she found her brother. Cassie stood up to Mayor Todd. Kat rocks with a shot gun and refused to the Asylum without Gavin (even though he was kinda dumb). Sarah wouldn't let Dean and Sam leave her out. She took responsibility for her father's actions and helped them out by giving them the provenances. They all stood up for themselves. Cassie made Dean say 'please' how many other guest stars have done that? None that I can think of.

2. Of the characters we've met, who do you think acts the most like a mother figure (other than Mary) towards the boys?
I think Dean is Sam's mother figure. Dean is the one that raised him the most (from what we've seen in the flashbacks and heard in the show). Dean is the one that makes sure he's okay and is there to back him up. Ellen is a mother figure to both of them, or she tries to be. She kind of looked out for them up until the end of 'No Exit'. She offered them a place to stay and kept an eye on them.

3. How do you think the lack of a permanent female presence in their lives has affected the brothers?
I believe the lack of a permanent female presence in their lives makes it harder for them to talk to females. Not that they're bad at it (God knows Dean isn't having troubles), but I would think that it would be a skill they would have to develop. This is a hard question. I would guess that they had to do all the things that a mother would usually do for their kid, for themselves.

4. Do you believe the different lighting cast on characters in this show is of any significance at all? And if so, what do you believe it's an indication of?
Sure. I believe that. I think it some scenes the light cast on a character signifies understanding.

5. Recommend one or two fanfics in this fandom that you've really enjoyed. (Please include whether pairings if applicable.)
On Angel's Wings, On Angel's Wings 2 and On Angel's Wings 3 by Mummyluvr. I love these stories. No parings.
That Vision Thing by InSecret. No pairings. Great story.
I Thought I Saw by The Cat's Whiskers. No pairing. Not many people could make Dean turn into a panther and still have him stay in character. Awesome story.

1. What is one healthy food you really, really like?
Apples. I love apples.

2. In what area of your life are you especially well-organized?
My computer life. My computer is so organized. I have folder upon folder on my computer, by bedroom is a mess.

3. Who is someone you’ve managed to stay in touch with?
Lisa. We've never actually met in person, but we talk on IM and we've managed to stay connected for about a year now despite schoolwork and work schedules.

4. What bad habit were you able to break (or what vice were you able to give up), and what was it like going through that change?
I'm working on breaking my habit of making blogs and e-mails that I have no use for. It's hard, but I know in my heart that this is the only blog I need and if I change my e-mail address again my friends will just decide that easier to not e-mail me at all.

5. Someone out there, whether you know it or not, wishes he or she were more like you in some way. What is it he or she most likely admires you for?
My ability to not care about what other people say about me. I like what I like and other people can deal.
