The Twilight Movie

The following post is spoilery for the Twilight movie and is partially written by the eleven-year-old-Meg living in a corner of your brain (she's the one that like the High School Musical movies and the Disney Channel, not me). You have been warned.

I liked the Twilight movie. Shut up, yes for real. I've seen it twice. Once on November 21 at 12:05 am with Melissa and once with Mom, Erin, Dad, Monique and Bailey. I loved everything about it the first time I saw it (for the most part). I was really surprised too, because I didn't like the Harry Potter movies (I watch the fourth movie when I want to see Robert Pattinson or David Tennant). When I saw the movie a second time, I'd read other people's opinions of the movies and started noticing the things that had annoyed them. Also, Erin was sitting next to me laughing hilariously at it. I still stand firm that I love Robert Pattinson as Edward. The first half of the movie is slow, but once it picks up it's very good. I love the baseball scene (especially Jasper throwing the bat around and looking all smexy). I love Alice and Jasper. To me they were PERFECT. Also, Charlie. The guy that played him was AMAZING. I loved every scene he was in, whether it was true to the book or not. I thought that sparkly-Edward could have been done so much worse and I loved the prom scene. Way to make me want you even more Edward! Shut up eleven year old!

I think that everyone should read this: http://oxymoronassoc.livejournal.com/462027.html. It's two girls discussing what Edward was doing while everyone else in the house was having crazy sex. It's hilarious. Even if you only know the basic premise of the story it's funny. If you've read the books it's even better.

What else to say? I loved the Cullen house and I kind of want to be Alice because she's awesome. Jackson Rathbone (the actor that played Jasper) looks like Johnny Depp to me (and also like my friend Bryan). I enjoyed him thoroughly in the movie.

In conclusion, I love how the Blogger spellchek makes me look like a good person, even at 2 in the morning. The end.

College is Made of Win and Awesome

Tomorrow is my first day of classes. Which means that today is my last day of freedom. And I'm gonna start this school year off with a bang, because I have three classes tomorrow. They're all in the after noon though, so thats good. And the last one is Intro to Web Buisiness, which I have with Monique.

Bailey: If you read this. I love you!!!!!!! And I miss you. I'll try to chat with you, or call before Wednesday.

Life is so exciting here. Right now. I'm doing laundry. I like that the laundry room is in the basement with no dorm rooms because it means I can set up my laptop and throw a personal dance party down here. And nobody will think I'm wierd unless they come down to checkwhat all the noise is about.

Erin (and Mom and Dad): I'm not sure what my plans for tonight are, but I'll try to call and chat. I love you guys.

My laundry is almost done and I'm about to play Cotton-Eye Joe on my laptop and dance. I love everyone.

Why Yes, Drake Bell And Corbin Bleu Are That Good Looking In Real Life. Better Even.

August 25, 2007. A day that will go down in history, mine at least. My first ever concert. Pretty sad, huh? But it was worth the wait. The concert I attended was in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Bank of America Pavillion. Drake Bell, Corbin Bleu, Biance Ryan, and Aly & AJ. And I went with the best company ever...friends. Monique and Bailey. And Bailey's Mom who was brave enough to deal with us through the concert and the night we spent in Boston.

Bianca Ryan performed first. Man, does that girl have a voice. I was amazed. And she's so cute. I really enhoyed her portion of the concert, though it was only 20 miutes long.

Corbin Bleu followed her up as it started to get darker outside. He got the audience pumped. I don't think he stop dancing at all through the fourty minutes he was on stage. That song from High School Musical 2 "I Don't Dance" was totally a charactersong, because Corbin Bleu does dance. A lot. He was very good. I screamed like a fangirl. *shrugs* So I am.

Drake Bell...this will be long winded. Before every act came on they played a short clip of them. For Biance Ryan it was the clip of her winning America's Got Talent last year. Corbin's was him dance. For Drake it was this picture:

That was all Monique, Bailey and I needed to scream at the top of our lungs. We weren't the only ones screaming, but we were probably the loudest and most enthusiastic. After that Drake actually came on stage. He had his guitar and was wearing sunglasses. He played: "Up Periscope", "I Know", "Do What You Want", "Found A Way", "Makes Me Happy", "Fool the World", A song none of us had ever heard, "Fallen For You", "Rusted Silhouette", "Break Me Down", and "End It Good". Somewhere around "Makes Me Happy" he took his sunglasses off and I think Bailey and I both melted. Also during "Makes Me Happy" he looked over, saw our sign, and smiled at Bailey (who was holding said sign). I of course missed this. Though I don't know how. Monique got some amazing pictures of Drake on stage and I'll put them up when I get them. And when I'm all set up at Champlain I'll scan in my ticket and program.

We didn't watch any of Aly & AJ. We went to get autographs and missed it all. Unfortunately only people with VIP passes were allowed to get autographs and none of us had those. A very kind man at the concert with his daughters was able to get Bailey in to see Drake and she got a pull-out poster from of those PopStar-type magazines signed by Drake. And also a hug.

After that we went back to our hotel room and fangirled for about an hour. Then Mo and Bailey's Mom went to bed. Bailey and I attempted to do some writing and ended up staring at the signed poster and a picture of Jensen I had. Then we shut off the lights and chatted 'til about 2.

It wasan awesome night, though Mo and I are a little jealous of Bailey. Mo and Bailey both got Drake shirts, and I got a poster for my dorm room wall. Those shirts are pretty nice to look at. I have pictures of them modeling them to put on my dorm wall as well.

I can't wait to share pictures from the concert Monique took some amazing ones of Drake. The ones of Corbin came out blurry because he never stopped moving.

Towels Are Evil!

For Bailey: A short blog post on why towels are evil (and why we also love them).

Jensen Ackles - The episode "Borrowed Time" of Dark Angel

Jared Padalecki - The episode "Hell House" of Supernatural

And that is why towels are evil. But HELLO! Nice view.

Both of the pictures are from http://www.desiring-jensen.org/ (even though one is of Jared).

P.S. Bailey, I had to search through pages of pictures to find these. Then I had to pick from the shots they had of each with the evil towel. It was hard (right!), but I did it (and would gladly do it again). Love ya Bails!

P.S.2. This really shouldn't make sense other than Bailey and I (and possibly Monique), so just enjoy the pictures.

Personal Discovery

Every once in a while I figure something out about myself. Sunday I hung out with Monique and Bailey. We had a sleepover at Monique's. I've always like having musicgoing when I'm writing or working on something. At Monique's I learned that I write much better if I'm wearing headphones to listen to music. I don't know why it helps me to concentrate, except that it kind of blocks out the outside world, and I am able to get totally absorbed in the music. I wanted to write it down so that I remember. I need to find a pair of headphones. I'm working on writing a story for a prompt my Mom gave me a while ago and I'd actually like to continue writing it. It's about what happens after the episode "Freak Nation" of Dark Angel.

"Shadow": My Over-Active Imagination

I just watched the episode "Shadow" (of Supernatural, duh!). By the end I was thinking that it really needed a good fanfiction tag. And by that I mean, at the end of the episode all three guys are pretty hurt, but Dean is bent over and wavering, etc. Now this may be because of how Jensen played it, but I would love it if there was a really good fanfic where Dean was more hurt than he let on.

I went looking for a fanfic that fit that description and found one (sort of), but first I want to try to show what I mean about Dean using screencaps. And if that doesn't work then at least we can look at the pretty pictures.

These two pictures are from the second "meeting" with the Daeva. Notice how Dean has his arm protectively covering his ribs. That's what I see at least.

This picture amazes me. If you look at the big version (and I have) Jensen's eyes look cloudy, kinda unfocused. Which I'm going to say is because Dean got his butt kicked by the Daeva.

I'm pretty sure this screencap spurs on Wincest lovers (that's right...Winchester incest), which I am not. I think it's a cute picture though. It looks like Dean is about to just nap right there.

Okay, so my proof that Dean is beat up more than he lets on is flimsy, but rewatch the scene and listen because there's so pretty gruesome sound effects and one of the Daevas (Daevi??) does seems to hang around Dean. And who really cares. There are pretty pictures.

BTW, these screencaps are from Striped Wall (http://stripedwall.com) and Screencap Paradise (http://screencap-paradise.com).

I said I'd found a story that I was looking for kind of. Here it is: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2839092/1/. It's a very well written story (and I know. I've read a lot of stuff on fanfiction.net). The only reason it's not perfect is because they end up in the hospital. I feel like that cheating. I'm just wierd. I like the stories where they (The Winchester Brothers) stay in a motel and patch each other up. Because that's the way it is in the show. In the first season they went to the hospital once (I think) and that was in "Faith" when Sam ran downstairs after saving the kids to find his brother lying in a puddle and (with how powerful Dean had made those tasers) probably not breathing. And I'm glad that they don't always end up in hospitals because if I wanted to watch hot guys in a hospital I'd flip over to Grey's Anatomy. Though, let's be honest, Jensen and Jared are way hotter than Patrick Dempsey, Eric Dane, Isaiah Washington, T.R. Knight and Justin Chambers. And Jeffrey Dean Morgan gets credit for being on both shows.

^*^*^*^*^

I have news. And it's exciting for me. On August 25, 2007, Me and two friends (Monique and Bailey) are taking a car trip to Boston, Massachusetts. To see Drake Bell in concert. Monique is buying the tickets tomorrow I believe. I'm super excited. We were supposed to see him in concert at a ski resort on Wachusett Mountain in Princton, Massachusetts (I believe), but it got canceled so we had a sleepover instead. That concert date was never really for sure though and had to be canceled due to the large number of people planning to show up (too many according to fire safety codes). I'm looking over information for the concert:
It's at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA.
It starts at 7pm.
Performing will be Aly & AJ, Corbin Bleu, Drake Bell and Bianca Ryan.
That's right. Corbin Bleu and Drake Bell in the same building...at the same time (and for the same performance). WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! This is information I did not know. Sara's gonna be so jealous, she loves Corbin Bleu.

Side Note: I want to read some of this author's stories when I have time: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/596294/.

This post brought to you by this YouTube video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=a9ZKwtgoZfY, chocolate, the internet, and pure excitement.

I feel like making a desktop picture (since I have all those screencap sites open.

Goals for the near future: survive tomorrow's chorus/band concert. I'm a soprano I and I have a cold. I can barely speak coherently, let alone hit those high notes...ugh.

My Drake Bell Mini-Obsession: I Blame Bailey

Drake Bell is a new obsession. I've seen a few episodes of Drake and Josh (I have to make an effort to fins them online because I don't have Nickelodeon) and I've seen the movie Drake and Josh Go Hollywood, but the thing that makes me like him so much is his music. I love him in Drake and Josh, but I can't watch the show while doing other things. I have his CD "It's Only Time" and I love it. I blame Bailey for getting me so into him. I've been listening to the CD on repeat since I got it on Monday.

I love the movie Drake and Josh Go Hollywood. My favorite part is when they've been kidnapped. Drake climbs up a bookshelf or something and they're looking over a poorly constructed wall (it doesn't go all the way up to the ceiling) at what the bad guys are doing. One of the guys sees them and all the bad guys run around to the door of the room Drake and Josh are in. I think it hysterical that when TBG (The Bad Guys) open the door Drake and Josh are playing a clapping game. It's so simple that it's hilarious and I love it. I also like that Tony Hawk's Viper (in the movie, if not in real life) is standard. That was cool. Standard's are a lot of fun once you get used to driving them.

I think that's the end of my Drake Bell rant, for now. I realized that I hadn't really said anything about my new obsession (not as bad an obsession as Supernatural, thank God) so I had to post this.
